Our Process

How we work

We like to think we’re a bit unique because we don’t just have decades of recruitment experience, we’ve also worked in marketing ourselves. That means we know what makes a good Creative Director and what to look out for in an SEO Manager, and we know our UX Designers from our Web Developers.

We’re proactive and hands-on (not like that), and we like to build long-lasting relationships with clients like you. Because that’s the best way to help you find the right people.

And it’s important to find the right person first time, isn’t it? Nobody wants to waste more time and money than absolutely necessary on recruitment. So, we go through a thorough four-stage process when we’re hunting out the talent for your team. Think of it like recruitment Krypton Factor.

Search

We get to know your business and its values, as well as the nitty gritty of the role you’re hiring for. We listen and learn and then put out calls across our network to find the candidates that match. It’s a bit like putting up the bat signal… but with less capes.

Selection

We’ll make you a promise, here and now, to never oversell a candidate’s abilities or send you CVs just to make up numbers. We like you too much for that. We’re pretty picky about our candidates too, so we’ll only ever show you the contenders we think are worth your time.

Interview

Does anyone really enjoy this part? Well, call us masochists, but we do! We’ll work with you to make sure you and the candidates both come out of the interview experience feeling warm and fuzzy about each other. Yep, even if the process doesn’t end with a job offer.

After all, you never know when a candidate might be a good fit for a role in the future. Plus, you want them to be nice about your business when they talk to their friends. #employerbrand

Success

Our job isn’t over the moment you choose your ideal candidate. If you’d like us to, we’ll create you a bespoke onboarding process that covers everything from the initial job offer paperwork right through to suggestions for helping the newbie settle in and become part of the team.

And we’ll only ever recommend moving forward with a placement if we think this really could be the start of something beautiful.
